SW Strategies Launches New Podcast as Part of Digital Assets Expansion Strategy
SW Strategies, Singapore-based public relations and strategic communications firm, has just announced the launch of “HR Won’t Like This”, a podcast that brings you unfiltered conversations about navigating through the madness and meaning of modern life and work.
This new venture is a natural extension of SW Strategies’s ongoing digital expansion, offering a fresh and engaging way to connect with a wide audience on topics that matter today, while building on the firm’s value proposition.
As a part of SW Strategies’s mission to increase its digital footprint , “HR Won’t Like This” adds an exciting new layer to the firm’s online presence, and will give listeners a candid look at the intersection of work, life, and mental health.
The podcast, will be hosted by two unlikely friends, a corporate-confused Gen Z and a chronically online Public Relations (PR) consultant and dives into everything from burnout and toxic productivity to relationships, identity, and navigating the chaos of adulthood. It’s raw, witty, and often hilariously relatable.
The podcast joins TMSG, the sports and lifestyle platform that was launched in 2017, known for its bold, community-first approach to storytelling.
“While on a work trip to Kuala Lumpur to meet with my team-mates in KL, I realised how two of them just could not stop talking while heading to and from meetings. And their conversations were somewhat hilarious and witty. And that is how this podcast was brought to life,” said Jose Raymond, founder and managing director of SW Strategies.
“We’re just having honest, no-filter chats about life, work, and all the chaos in between. Honestly, this podcast happened because neither of us ever stops talking. So, we thought, why not share it?” said Digital Content Creator and Co-Host of “HR Won’t Like This”, Aimi Ghazemy. Aimi is also one of SW Strategies’ public consultants, who joined the firm in February 2024.
Born from late-night work messages, shared disbelief over adulting, and plenty of sarcastic commentary, “HR Won’t Like This” is a mix of therapy, workplace banter, and unsolicited life advice in an attempt to help young adults survive the corporate world. It’s the perfect blend of humor, honesty, and insight for anyone trying to figure it all out.
The response to the podcast’s social media presence has been encouraging, with the launch videos on Instagram and TikTok collectively drawing over 3,100 views in less than 24 hours since its release, sparking early engagement from an audience clearly ready to tune in.
“The feedback has been incredible,” said Danial Halim, Regional PR Consultant at SW Strategies and Co-Host of “HR Won’t Like This”.
“It’s clear people are connecting with what we’re talking about. We just want the podcast to be a space where young adults like us can join the conversation and feel heard,” added the regional PR consultant who also joined the firm in February 2024.
“We’re always looking for new ways to stay relevant and connect with today’s conversations. This newly created podcast is another way to engage with a wider audience and keep things fresh in the digital space,” added Raymond.
“HR Won’t Like This” Podcast officially launched on 23 April and is available to listen on Spotify and YouTube. Follow along on Instagram and TikTok for more candid discussions and life advice you didn’t ask for but secretly needed.
